On August 2, selected students from Grade 11 and 12 in the ABM strand showcased their intellect and skills in the fields of marketing and business. They represented the school in FUSION 2025: Journeying Through Marketing Narratives at the De La Salle University Manila.

Sponsored by Globe and hosted by the student organization, JEMA, Fusion 2025 is a business case competition that challenged the students to present ways to future-proof and increase the relevance of Globe to the youth. The school’s representative team, ManreX, passed the preliminary round last July 23 and competed in the finals round last August 2.

The students who represented the school in the said competition included Madelaine B. Garcia (12 - St. Luke), Daniel Joaquin S. Santos (12 - St. Luke), Mattheiu Reign S. Melendres (12 - St. Luke), Niño Yuwen S. Palma (12 - St. Ignatius), and Zaina Jamika Bisuna (12 - St. Ignatius). Their success was made possible through the guidance of their mentor, Sir Jolex L. Acid.

Niño Palma, one of the Grade 11 participants, described his experience as one of the greatest experiences in his Senior High School life so far, which allowed him to experience the life of a college student at a university. He quoted, “I learned that, when you try to learn something new, you go to different places. That’s where you can succeed in life, and know that it takes you to new heights.”

Zaina Bisuna, also a Grade 11 participant, noted that her experience in Fusion 2025 exposed her to new ventures related to her academic strand, stating, “I learned a lot in the process of writing the case study itself.”

Truly, the Manresan values of being lifelong learners and responsible leaders continue to manifest in various ways, but especially through the students and their efforts in turning opportunities into achievements.

Congratulations! Continue honing your talents; your SHS family is proud of you! 💙
