Manresa Youth Day ‘25 Celebrated with Hope!

Manresa Youth Day (MYD) 2025 is celebrated at Manresa School with the theme “PARA PO!: Reliving Familiar Streets with Hope and Harmonious remembrances of Mother Candida with the Youth”, together in the commemoration of the Feast Day of St. Cándida María de Jesús, the school's Mother Foundress. Additionally, the day was celebrated in line with the 2025 Jubilee Year of Hope.


Due to the scale of the event, spanning grades 4 to 12—grade levels were grouped in “clusters”. Cluster 1 consisted of grades 4-6, Cluster 2 consisted of grades 7-9, and Cluster 3 consisted of grades 10-12.

The event was held from 7:30 a.m. to 11:40 a.m. for Cluster 1, and from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for Clusters 2 and 3.


From 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., a Eucharistic Celebration was held in the Old Gymnasium for both MYD and the Feast Day of St. Cándida María de Jesús. Subsequently, the Opening Program for MYD was held in the same venue.


Afterwards, Cluster 1 had their recess at the canteen while Clusters 2 and 3 had the Presentation of the MYD Video and Youth Chant activity at the Old Gymnasium. Clusters 2 and 3 succeedingly had their recess.


Sections in Cluster 1 proceeded with their Station 1: Classroom-Based Activity and Processing at their respective classrooms. They were then dismissed at 11:40 a.m.


Sections in Cluster 2 also undertook their Station 1: Classroom-Based Activity in their respective classrooms, before having their lunch break. Subsequently, Cluster 2 continued the day with their Station 2: Team Building & Gameshow.


Meanwhile, Cluster 3 conducted Station 1: Team Building & Gameshow in the New Gymnasium and then their lunch break afterwards. They then had their Station 2: Classroom-Based Activity in their respective classrooms.
