“Panalo ng isa, panalo ng lahat!”—Being able to join the Monarch’s Gambit competition at Southville International School was one of my senior year's best highlights. It was a close and tough fight with other schools as we placed 4th in the competition. However, the spirit of victory still lingers in the air as the other Manresan ABM team claimed the first-place trophy. Our teamwork, hard work, and dedication all led to success, bringing pride and honor back to our school.
The competition has given me a fun and memorable experience, as it not only enhanced my teamwork skills with my fellow ABM classmates but also strengthened our bond as a class. Working together through the competition allowed us to grow closer and develop a deeper sense of camaraderie. Additionally, the competition gave me an opportunity to enhance my critical thinking and business finance skills, pushing me to think to my fullest and apply what I've learned throughout the competition. I also had the opportunity to meet amazing students from various schools like Southridge, Colegio San Agustin, and many more, making the event even more enjoyable. It allowed us to connect over our shared goal, creating a sense of solidarity.
It was truly a great experience to engage with fellow students who were equally passionate about the competition and field. Overall, what resonates with me the most are the unforgettable experiences and the happiness I felt during the competition. While winning as a class certainly added to our joy, this event represents a significant moment in my life—one that I will cherish.
